LET’S TAKE A JOURNEY

The visual representation of this segment of time and space are a continuum of spectrums of light and gas from planets and galaxies multiple light years away. Maybe that’s the technical side of space. But I’m more curious into what others think of space. Is it a waste of time to explore or are we just touching on the brink of something out there that could change life as we know it! I’m biased as this is what I do for a living, but actually have had an infatuation with space since I can ever remember. We kinda take it for granted when we look into the sky at night. We look at the distant stars ✨ and say β€œThat’s cool”. But we really have no clue what is going on up there and it is always on my mind. I can’t even imagine what it must be like, to be an astronaut and explore even the outer realms of possibility and the unsaid thoughts that were really not alone. If there was something seen out there, would they be sworn to secrecy to not cause a frantic mass-exodus in the general population😱

These questions often run through my head when I daydream about what truly is taking place, and who is consciously taking accountability for its existence. To me most look at space as, just that, something that takes up the sky. But gets brushed off like a homeless person that you pass on the street. Do I act like I don’t see it, and keep walking and going about my day, or do I provide food for nourishment, and a helping hand, or a thought for what man’s next step might be, if this world we live on needs to be abandoned.

Outer space to most is just that! Do I care so much because it’s a part of my livelihood, or because I truly want to help humanity with concentric alternatives to life as we know it. What if we β€œDO” discover life forms on a far away planet.? What is the logical next step? Do we forge on, and make contact and establish a baseline for connectivityπŸ€”

I’m full of questions and definitely have more of them than I have answers. But what I do have is a thirst for knowledge and a sheer love for the unknown and the constant battle to learn something new every day🧠

It is astonishing that there is so much taking place in space, and for the most part we’re oblivious to what is truly taking place up there. I respect your love and concern for the future so much ❀️

I totally agree. I think we’re just scratching the surface of space and it appears we’re heading in the right direction. Going to work everyday is a joy!

Yeah, I’m intrigued and interested in new discoveries in space, other intelligent life-forms, potential future worlds for humanity to settle on when Earth can’t sustain us or other untoward incidents, learning more about how the universe, dark energy and dark matter, etc.

I feel that it’s not just for the sake of scientific discovery and exploration, but also the fact that it’s essential for humanity to progress and advance as a species, and for our long-term survival.

I totally agree. I feel like for some they think it’s just a waste of tax-payers money. But eventually as we completely deplete the ozone layer, the importance for space exploration will become of exponential importance….
