Brandishing a big inviting smile, Providing kind banter, Always joking around, But my feelings no one has ever truly found
Can you understand what it feels like to hide behind a mask,
To overwhelm yourself with activity and life-fillers with any arbitrary and notional task
Drowning yourself in tumultuous nothingness, to drain your think tank from the obscurity you call your inner-most thoughts and stress
The health scare that shook to the core, and the silence hid with know one to truly fill in the void that resonates in the place true thoughts reside, behind the humongous mask of a door
You thought about alcohol and drowning your sorrow, but too chicken since you know your Dad died from a slow but deadly calling crimson tarnished Flask, that cost him a true tomorrow
The feeling of not truly knowing oneself , hiding behind a facade with the understanding that someone might truly see you like being on a stage and the spotlight is continuously felt
Transparency and coping with ever-changing never-ending lapses in judgement or manifesting your hopes in dreams into a fallacy of your current predicament
Thank you for taking the time to read my post
